Step 1: Prepare the "Bacon" Mushrooms
Heat a pan over medium heat. Add sesame oil.
Sauté the mushrooms until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Add soy sauce and cook for another minute. Set aside.
Step 2: Make the Crust (Skip for Crustless Version)
Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in the butter until crumbly.
Gradually add cold water until a dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough and press it into a 9-inch pie pan. Pre-bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Prepare the Filling
In a large bowl, whisk eggs, Greek yogurt, and black pepper.
Stir in broccoli, cheese, garlic powder, and the cooked mushrooms.
Step 4: Assemble & Bake
Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust (or directly into a greased pan for crustless).
Bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes until the center is set.
Let it cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with green onions.
